Western "Canter" Rant

Just a random rant since I need to update my journal xD But does this bother anyone else? [link] Not to pick on this guy in particular but I just can't stand that form of "canter" or lope whatever you want to call it. To me it is NOT a canter unless your horse is friggen actually picking up its legs. I saw it at a 4-h show one day and they ended up coming in second and I was just pissed lol I know it's the "western way" but I think it looks horrible. Not trying to be mean to anyone here who rides western, I ride western every now and then myself but I don't put my horse into a slow arse canter like that. Plus I show english so it's only natural that I feel this way.

aw well thank you :) Sorry, but I don't take requests anymore because of how hectic my schedule is these days with graduation and work, so I only do commissions which basically force me to do it nicely so I have done away with requests. I appreciate your comments, thanks :hug:
